Lucid, Nuro, and Uber unveil their global robotaxi and
announce autonomous on-road testing at CES 2026.

Advanced autonomy.
Premium experience.

A multi‑modal sensor array
High-resolution cameras, lidar, and radars provide 360-degree awareness. Sensors are integrated into the vehicle’s body and its low-profile, roof-mounted Halo module.
Halo-mounted LED display
Helps riders identify the correct vehicle by displaying passenger initials. Provides clear status updates from pickup through dropoff.
High-performance compute
NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor powers real-time AI processing to support advanced autonomous driving.
Versatile, spacious layout
Configurations that comfortably fit up to six passengers and offer generous luggage space, creating a premium solution for group travel.
An intuitive in-ride experience
Interactive screens let riders adjust heated seats, climate, and music, plus contact support or request the vehicle to pull over.
Real-time driving visualization
Real-time visuals show what the robotaxi sees and where it plans to go next, including yielding to pedestrians, slowing at lights, lane changes, and dropoff.

Launching in 2026, the first-ever autonomous ride-hailing vehicle developed exclusively for the Uber platform will redefine how cities move.

Three innovators, one vision.

Setting a new standard for safe, sustainable, and scalable autonomous transportation worldwide with a next-generation global robotaxi program. A first-of-its-kind partnership built on expertise, collaboration, and trust.
