Learn about autonomous vehicles soon to be on the road in your neighborhood.
Hi, Los Angeles.
Nuro is excited to be deploying our autonomous vehicles in the City of Angels. We're excited to be mapping throughout the county, and you may just see our mapping vehicles driving through your neighborhood. Mapping is the first step to deploying our autonomous service, which means that over the course of the next few years, we'll be ramping up to begin Nuro delivery service in partnership with recognizable Southern California brands.
That means fewer trips to the store, safer neighborhoods, and fewer emissions are just around the corner.
How Nuro works.
1. Order from one of our partners.
If you live within one of our service areas, place a delivery order with one of our partners, then select “self-driving vehicle” when you check out.

2. We’ll keep you updated.
Once R2 picks up your order and is on the way, we’ll text you a link to easily keep track of its progress.

Have you spotted a self-driving Nuro Prius in your neighborhood?
Our Prius fleet assists with building high definition roadway maps in new and existing zones, drives autonomously while monitored by specially trained operators, and helps complete deliveries. We use these Prius vehicles (always with operators inside) to test and monitor systems before launching our uncrewed R2 bots in a new community.
Want to ask us about vehicles in the neighborhood, invite someone (or a robot) from Nuro to a community event, or schedule a tour of our office for a school group?
